(More customer reviews)I bought this receiver from Amazon and was surprised when I got it that it had OTT. After a little research on the Master Lock site. I found out OTT stands for One Tool Torque and it won an Editors Choice award from Popular Mechanics. Master Lock built in a small pin in the receiver and the hitch ball that hold the ball in place when you tighten the nut on the ball. This is great because now instead of having to use a pipe wrench on the ball and a crescent wrench on the nut you only need ONE tool, OTT! Plus you no longer damage the ball with the pipe wrench which causes the ball to rust.

(More customer reviews)Cannot recommended Tripp-Lite enough. I had this Isobar Ultra filled with computer equipment. An electrician's company fed 220 volts into two house circuits. The equipment plugged into the Tripplites were fine. The electronics plugged into a cheaper strip all fried. $3,000 worth of damage. If I had spent the money on the TrippLite I would still have my 36" HDTV, DVD, and VCR.
Tripp lite's side fuse was popped and would not reset. Internally it was fried, smelled like it melted and something rattled inside. Contacted TrippLite and, no questions asked, they sent me a replacement--no fees. I had the tripplite for at least five years. The LifeTime warranty is real, don't forget that. And this unit is all metal housing. Heavy, solid, with mounting screw holes on the back. THe cable is thick and solid. It will tell you if the plug is ungrounded. The plugs are isolated to eliminate EMI noise from propigating from one plug to the next.
My ultra has a modem/phone pass thru on one side. I don't see that mentioned here.

I see that there are 20 reviews about these pliers already. To be honest with you I can't think of anything that I could possibly say that hasn't been said better in the 20 other reviews, which are probably written by people eminently more qualified to write about pliers than myself. Seriously you should probably stop reading my review about pliers right now. I will say that I like the pliers. They didn't fall apart in my hands when I used them. They plied quite well. I used them to tighten a bolt under my recliner that comes loose periodically. If you want to read some of my other reviews I am sometimes appreciated for my views on cds or books. Of course there's a good chance that you may not be interested in any of the items I have reviewed, being that you're interested in reading about pliers. But you never know. I will say that you should probably skip my review about the labels. It's kind of similar to this one and no one really cared for it.
Anyway it's been great having this time together. If you decide to go with the pliers I hope that they work out for you.

This is a large sized frame and lens combo. It is comparable in size to the Antix and Oil Rig, and is very similar in style to the Antix; they look almost the same. In fact, I believe the only major difference between the two is that the Antix has a blade lens (single piece), whereas the Hijink has separate and individual lenses for the left and right eye. However, I believe Oakley cuts them both from the same piece of HDO lens to maintain optical clarity.
As for polarized or not, that's a personal decision. You can Google about the pros and cons to decide for yourself. I will tell you that there are so many polarized lenses out there that are just terrible. However, Oakley's polarized lenses are the best I've experienced because they maintain the optical clarity of the non-polarized HDO lenses. You will still experience some of the rainbow effect, but not nearly as bad.
Most of you know about Oakley's O-matter frame and HDO lenses, and for those of you that don't, you can go to their website to read about them. In short, the frame is strong and durable, the lens is ridiculously strong and optically clear. By "optically clear" I mean that the lens does not distort the light like almost every other pair of sunglasses out there (yes, even the expensive ones). The frame may seem like ordinary plastic but it's actually an incredibly durable plastic material they custom make.

(More customer reviews)The last GPS I got I couldn't even figure out how to turn on...they have really come a long way as far as ease-of-use. This one...opened the box, easily assembled it onto the base with no directions, plugged it in, turned it on (okay, I had to go to directions for that, but they are very clear), followed all the steps (very intuitive - it walks you through it) and there I was - it had me pinpointed to my exact position in the parking lot - wow. So I plugged in an address, and yes, I'm old-school - I was shocked with this relatively inexpensive machine started TAlKING to me, nice voice too - very clear directions, tells you exactly how far to go before turning. This is the new model, which is why I got it, but it seems to have all the best features discussed in reviews of older models (I read a lot of reviews). Again, I'm not proficient in technology (my 11 year old niece has to help me with my phone and forget an I-Pod) but from my point of view this has all that a typical driver would need - I even think my even less-technically proficient parents would like it and I plan to try it out on them.
Update after a week: The screen shows several things I hadn't noticed, like your speed, the speed limit for the road you are on (some roads, not all roads), the expected time that you will get to the destination, the direction (North, South, East, West) and how far it is in miles. It's not distracting, as these notations are on the perimeter. The voice directions are very good, a warning prior to coming to a turn and then a 'turn left on ____ St.' when you get there and how far it is, as in 'turn left in point-three miles'. And it tells you which side of the street (left or right) your final destination is on, which is very helpful on a busy street.
Also nice is the 'Map' feature: It's simply a map of where you are, showing an automobile icon that moves as you go along...it shows landmarks, street names along with the speed limit and your speed so you don't have to look down at the speedometer and guess if you're going the speed limit and what it is. This can be used even when you don't have a destination plugged in. Plus, the machine saves addresses so you just have to tap on an address from a list of places you've been, instead of retyping it. It also saves the cities, so you can pull it down from a menu instead of typing it in...so I would consider it generally 'user-friendly'.
I got the portable Garmin Friction Mount to hold it in place (it's a beanbag type thing) which is really great, as you can easily stow it on the floor so no one decides to 'borrow it' if they see it on the dashboard. Overall, couldn't be more pleased...this one doesn't have 'traffic alerts', so if you want 'traffic' there is another Garmin model that would be more suitable.

According to Tripp, unit uses about 1A of power in standby mode. Since the batteries are charged most of the time, the power is coverted to heat. The case gets very warm and since I have mine in an entertainment cabinet, it just becomes a 120 watt heating element. I have several UPS units and this is the only one which gets hot. Its a poor design to waste 120 watts of power 24/7. It only takes a couple watts to trickle charge the batteries. Tripp offered to replace it but stated the new one would have the same issue. I would not have purchased this if I knew it put out 100 plus watts of heat 24/7.

It fit our tree (7 1/2 feet tall, narrow/slim type) with the bag being just long enough to cover it (including the stand) when we bent over the point of the tree. My only complaint is that the bags aren't that thick and/or tough and we tore a hole in the first one we used. We were more careful with the second bag and had no other problems. It would be nice if they offered a thicker/tougher bag, but they are cheap enough so that you can buy extras.

Cons:
-Slow. The refresh rate is at best 1-3 updates per second when reading OBD2 values. This is way to slow to be of much use.
-Fuel mileage calculations with included software is woefully optimistic
-Included software can only read a few parameters. There are some free software alternatives, but most of the good stuff is quite expensiveOverall:
Decent for CEL reading/resetting. Although, a cheap handheld device does the same thing and is more portable.
Poor for monitoring values over OBD2. The refresh rate is too low to be of much diagnostic use.

(More customer reviews)Granted, these cost two or even three times as the cheap Blitz CARB cans sold in the discount stores.
I've used these cans for over five(5) years. The original ones still work. I've tried nearly all the others, but none compares with the ease and convenience of this one. I am a contractor who uses small engine equipment almost daily. This is the one that has lasted.
The onle caveat that I have is that care must be used in tighening the top. The gasket is very thin and fragile. You have to seat it by raising the black outer sleeve and making sure that the seal contacts both the top of the red body and the yellow sleeve, before tightening the black sleeve. Otherwise you will tear or destroy the gasket.
The people at No-Spill were kind enough to send me several gaskets for FREE, until I fighered out the right technique.
Now, I purchase 2 inch ID 1/8 section Viton "O" ring from Graingers that are a lot more durable than the square cut gaskets.
The can is not perfect but nearly so.
So, if you want performance and the convenience of easy to use, get this one. It's worth the money and you won't be sorry. It's money well spent.

I have many kinds of hoses on the farm here but this is my favorite. I'm in a wheelchair and the smaller diameter makes for easy handleing and a small "bump" when I roll over it. I have never had it kink. Ever. After a summer/winter/summer all outdoors I can wipe the surface and it looks brand new. No signs of any wear. Get this hose and I think you'll be very pleased. If you let your kids play with a garden hose they WILL drink out of it. Better safe than sorry. A nice product.

(More customer reviews)This polished stainless steel trailer hitch ball does cost more than the traditional plated steel balls. After years and years of rusty trailer hitch balls you have to put grease on this is over for good. The quality of the ball is outstanding and easy to install. I still had to use another wrench to put the final torque on the ball. The yellow tab thing didn't work to stop the ball from turning. No issue as the ball is the last I will ever have to buy.

negitive: 1)somewhat bulky, 2)NOT as powerful as my 2-million CP spot that I keep in my car and 3)batterie recharging time is 16-18 hrs-- way too long!
Overall: it works fine but I wouldn't buy it again

(More customer reviews)I ordered this from Amazon.com and got it as promissed. It was a refurbished unit that looked like new. I went to update the maps on the unit and the Garmin website said the unit was registered 5 months ago. I emailed and explained I purchased a refurbished unit from Amazon and it was eligible for a map update. It took a number of emails to finally authorize this free update. Beware if you purchase a refrubished unit as you will likely go through this same hassle.
The unit itself worked as advertised and the map update took about 90 minutes, not hours as other have reported (unless you include the hassle with Garmin trying to get the update). I purchased an extended warranty as newer electronics don't seem to be as robust as the older stuff.
So far, so good.
