I purchased my Dell Inspiron B130 laptop in 2005-2006 and the wires in the original power cord must have become broken over time so I needed a replacement. This new cord and its power supply works wonderfully and I don't need to worry about completing the circuit by holding the old cord in place anymore just to keep from losing incoming charging power. This purchase eliminated a lot of frustration. Highly reccomended.
