(More customer reviews)I found many problems with the unique adjustable jaw mechanism:
The way you tighten the wrench is by squeezing the jaws together. Only the lower jaw moves so you can just push there. The problem with this mechanism is if you are working in tight spaces, it can be difficult if not impossible to get your fingers in the same space as the jaw to push it tight. Often times, the wrench will slip as you are trying to squeeze your fingers in there which leads to a frustrating experience. Another inconvenience is you will usually need both hands - one to hold the wrench in position and the other to push the jaws tight.
If you think you can just adjust the jaw before you start wrenching, this doesn't work well either. It is easy to push the jaws too hard together and accidentally click more than once which leads to the next problem - you can't click it wider. You must open the release valve which will cause the jaw to freely slide open. So if you make it one click too tight, you have to start over. There is an increment guide on the head but it is hard to see in low light or dirty situations and it's not natural to memorize where you are on the guide before you start adjusting.
Even if you have enough room to squeeze the jaws together, it is not possible to make fine adjustments. The jaw only locks with each click and sometimes you want half a click to really get that tight fit. The clicks are in 1/16 inch increments which is small but doesn't allow that really tight fit you sometimes want.
Overall, the jaw mechanism is simply not practical in many real world situations.
On the plus side, the build quality is excellent and the rubber grip is solid.
This wrench is probably fine if you don't plan on working in tight spaces and don't need to make fine adjustments. Otherwise, you'll have to keep a 2nd standard wrench on hand for those occasions. Thus, this wrench does not make for a good all-purpose tool.
