(More customer reviews)Going through my years as a student and experimenter, I had a Radio Shack Micronta DMM where the ohmmeter finally failed, so I had justification to get a new DMM. Having moved on in terms of disposable income since the time I was a struggling student no more than 25 years old, I figured I could afford a real Fluke, these being what the HVAC guys tended to use. I was impressed, to say the least, about the kind of stuff this device will do, to include such obscure functions as getting line frequency, ambient temperature, and even capacitance (no more "mystery condensers" in my parts box!). I still needed to get alligator clips and the inductive current probe to feel complete on this, but altogether, I'm satisfied with the kit.
