UPDATE 5/10/11:
I have owned this amplifier for about 10 months now and I use it nearly every day. The amplifier still works perfectly, even after sliding around in my trunk due to my lazy "mounting" system (which is nothing at all). I have never felt that the sub doesn't deliver enough bass or experiences clipping or distortion due to the amplifier. I believe that the amp is actually more powerful than what I need. I have also put it to the test of endurance. I did a 14-hour nonstop drive to southern California, during which time I played my stereo constantly. The amp is still perfectly fine. Rockford Fosgate has made a very high-quality, reliable and durable product with the R150-2. I still highly recommend it.
ORIGINAL REVIEW:
I bought this amplifier to power a JL Audio 10" W1V2 subwoofer (with an RMS rating of approximately 150 watts).
The amplifier arrived in high-quality packaging and included a certificate of testing, indicating that prior to leaving the factory it had functioned properly and produced an RMS wattage higher than its rated value. The set included the necessary fuse and some mounting hardware.
The amplifier is a typical Rockford Fosgate high-quality product. Fit and finish are excellent and the product has a clean, simple design. The terminals and adjustment controls are rugged and well-labeled.
Using a Rockford Fosgate installation kit, which I would recommend due to its similar good value and inclusion of all necessary cables, I was able to install this amplifier in my 1998 Kia Sephia in about an hour, including routing the power cable through the engine bay firewall (the most difficult aspect for me). I connected the signal and switch-on leads to an Alpine iDA-X200 receiver.
Note: After installing and connecting all cables, be sure to turn the gain on the amplifier from "1" (which amplifies by a factor of 1...in other words, not at all) to a higher value, such as "10" for maximum power output. Otherwise, you will not be able to hear any output from the subwoofer or speakers. Also, if connecting to a subwoofer, be sure that the subwoofer is turned on and up to an appropriate level via the stereo receiver.
Once I got everything set up correctly, I tested out the amplifier and was extremely happy with its performance. The bass from my subwoofer is clean, tight, and very loud, and by turning the "bass boost" feature on this amplifier to about halfway, I have more than adequate output with my subwoofer set to 5 of 15 on my receiver.
The best part of this amplifier is its price. With a name like Rockford Fosgate and more than adequate performance for any reasonable music enthusiast (as long as your goal is not simply to be heard from blocks away), you would expect a higher price, but the R150-2 is one of the best value amplifiers that I was able to find, and I am absolutely satisfied with my choice.
I have had this amplifier for a few weeks now and its performance continues to be flawless. It does get very warm, like any amplifier will, but keep enough airspace around it and there should be no problems.

Rockford Fosgate amplification at an unbelievable value. The R150-2 2-channel amplifier pumps out more than enough to power a set full-range or component speakers, or you can bridge it into a 4-ohm load to produce 150 watts for a single R1S410 10" or R1S412 12" woofer.

R150-2 Features
Power and Protect LEDs The Protect LED illuminates if a short circuit or to low of an impedance is detected at the speaker connections. The amplifier will automatically shut down if this occurs.
RCA Input Jacks The industry standard RCA jacks provide an easy connection for signal level input. They are nickel-plated to resist the signal degradation caused by corrosion.
RCA Pass-Thru Jacks This Pass-Thru provides a convenient source for daisy-chaining an additional amplifier without running an extra set of RCA cables from the front of the vehicle to the rear amplifier location.
Gain Control The input gain control is preset to match the output of most source units.
Crossover Switch Selectable switch for 80Hz High-Pass (HP), All Pass (AP), or Low-Pass (LP) operation.
Variable Crossover (Low Pass Only) A built-in 12dB/octave Butterworth filter with a crossover point variable from 50Hz to 250Hz.
Punch Bass The Punch Bass control provides a bass boost up to 12dB @ 45Hz.
